RAMAN. stands for raw emotion, a no-nonsense guitar sound, melancholic instrumental interludes, and a voice that  never lets you go. 

RAMAN. floats on a wild stream of emotion, carried by warm colours, disarming lyrics, and compelling melodies. Echoes of Chris Whitley and Jeff Buckley resonate in his music, but it was in the streets of Ghent that he found his own voice.
Shifting between light and shadow, in his search for sincerity. 

2018 was a key year for RAMAN. As artist in residence at music club N9, he worked on his first EP, ‘Birth Of Joy’, in collaboration with sound engineer Staf Verbeeck (Metal Molly, Selah Sue, Melanie de Biasio, Calexico). 
Since then, he has been working with producers such as Pascal Deweze (Metal Molly, Sukilove, Broken Glass Heroes) and Koen Gisen (An Pierlé, Meskerem Mees, The Bony King of Nowhere), under whose wing he recorded his first full album in 2025: ‘I do’. 

'I do', RAMAN.'s first full album, will be released on January 9, 2026.

ROCK-SOLID LIVE REPUTATION

‘I do’ may be RAMAN.’s debut album, but he has already come a long way live. At the end of 2019, he presented his first EP, ‘Birth of Joy’, to a sold-out Minardschouwburg in Ghent. That success made it into the national press and radio stations, and took him to festivals such as Gent Jazz, Boomtown, Fonnefeesten, and Zebrawoods, as well as to the most beautiful venues in the BENELUX (AB, Trix, De Roma, Het Depot, Paradiso, 013, etc.). 
From the summer of 2021, he opened for Trixie Whitley, Novastar, Black Box Revelation, Kaiser Chiefs, and Bombino, among others. In 2025, he toured Europe as support act and temporarily subbing for guitarist Raymond Geerts with Hooverphonic.
